How to Save Articles & Emails to Your Knowledge Base
Interesting articles cross your screen every day. A newsletter with a sharp take. A blog post someone shared. A long read you bookmarked “for later.”
Later rarely comes. And when it does, you read the article and forget the key points within a week.
Integrate’s Digest turns this into a knowledge pipeline. Save any link or forward any email. AI reads the content and pulls out the ideas worth keeping, so you don’t have to read every word yourself.
What the Digest does
The Digest is a “save for later” inbox that actually works. When you save content, Integrate:
- Fetches and cleans the full article
- Reads it with AI to find the most valuable passages
- Creates snippet suggestions for you to review
- You keep the good ones, discard the rest
Think of it as a reading assistant that pre-highlights articles for you.
Three ways to save content
Save a link. Paste any URL into Integrate’s Digest. The system fetches the page, strips out the navigation and ads, and processes the clean text.
Forward an email. Every Integrate user gets a unique Digest email address. Forward any email to it and the content enters the pipeline. Works well for newsletters you receive but don’t have time to read carefully.
Browser extension. While browsing, highlight text and save it directly. The passage becomes a snippet immediately, no AI processing needed, because you already picked the part that matters.
How the AI decides what to extract
The extraction considers three things: your topics of interest (based on your library), the quality of the content (insights, arguments, facts, actionable advice), and a relevance score so the best suggestions float to the top.
From a 3,000-word article, you might get 3 to 5 snippet suggestions. You review them, keep what resonates, skip the rest.
Reviewing your Digest
Each morning, you get a notification if new items have been processed. Open the Digest and you’ll see your snippet suggestions.
For each one, you can convert it to a snippet (adds it to your library permanently), discard it, or edit the text before saving.
Snippets you keep get topic tags, show up in daily sessions, and can be organized into notebooks. They become part of your knowledge, not just something you read once.
Making it work
Forward newsletters automatically. Set up an email filter that sends specific newsletters to your Digest address. The insights are waiting for you every morning without any manual effort.
Don’t save everything. The Digest works best when you’re selective. Save things you genuinely want to learn from.
Review daily, even if it’s just 3 minutes. A backlog of 50 unprocessed articles creates anxiety, not knowledge.
Let AI do the work. You don’t need to read every article in full. If the extracted snippets capture the key ideas, that’s enough. You can always click through to the original.
Common questions
What types of content can I save?
Any web article, blog post, newsletter, or email with text content. Works best with text-heavy pages. Won’t extract much from image-heavy or interactive content.
Can I pause processing?
Yes. Going on vacation? Pause in settings. Items queue up and get processed when you resume.
How is this different from Pocket or Instapaper?
Those apps save articles for you to read later. Integrate saves articles and extracts the key insights for you. The AI does the highlighting, so you spend less time reading and more time learning.
Stop losing insights from articles you never get back to. Let Integrate’s Digest handle it. integrate.fyi
